Besides stamping, my other passion is knitting. I knitted an afghan for my grandson, Matthew, but forgot to take a picture of it when I finished it. I did remember to take a picture of the very cute (IMHO) Sock Monkey I just finished so I thought I would share a couple of pictures. I can't wait to give it to him.

I'm sorry, again, that I have neglected to post anything for so long. My first grandbaby was born, I traveled to Mount Rushmore and Montana, hurt my tail bone, scratched my cornea, adopted a 7 y/o dog, and sprained my foot since summer vacation started! I go back to work at the school on August 22nd. I have been able to make a few cards and would like to share three cards I did with the card group I started at church.

My big brother (bubby), Mike, and his son, Joe, came to visit in May. Mike and Joe were demonstrating Vita-Mix machines at a physicians' seminar held in Denver. My nephew is the top selling Vita-Mix guy in his region (he lives in TX). It was so fun to have them visit, I hadn't seen Joe for about 7 or 8 years. Thanks guys!

Hi there! It's been a long time since I have posted and I am so sorry. The only excuse I can give is that a lot of family stuff is going on. I have a son getting married on March 13th and another son getting married on July 3rd. Guess who is making the invitations/announcements? Yup... me :o).

I am getting ready to post some samples of the cards I will be doing at Machee's monthly class on the 25th. My hubby got me a camera for Christmas and I just have to figure out how to get the pictures from the camera, onto the computer, and uploaded to my blog. Don't laugh! Machee's Brighton Card Night

HI there! Another week has passed and I haven't posted anything. I am still busy applying and interviewing for jobs. I will be scanning and posting the projects done at the very first Front Range Stampers Shoe Box Swap on the 14th. I have a class in Brighton tomorrow night that I am preparing for. I also have my monthly hostess club meeting on Saturday morning. So much to do... so little time :o(.

It has been a while since I posted. We are already a week into September! September 1st marked the premiere of the 2009 Holiday Mini and what a mini catalog it is! If you haven't received your copy please contact me and I can get one to you or you can click on the copy on my right sidebar and look at it online.

One of the products I am really excited about is the My Digital Studio software. My copy will be arriving this week and I can't wait to try it out. I am not a scrapbooker but am excited to try my hand at it digitally. With this software you can also design cards! Design a card digitally and then recreate it on paper .... cool, huh?

Cards for August & September Relief Society Classes

Once a month I do card classes in two different wards for Relief Society Enrichment groups. The ladies get to make four cards each month and they love it! One of the ward groups didn't meet in July or August and I hear they can't wait until September. Here are the cards the groups will be doing.

This card is sort of a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) of the Medallion card on the front of the current Stampin' UP! Idea Book & Catalog.

This card is bright and fun. I saw on someone's blog where they used a window sheet in between two layers to stamp the greeting so I thought I would give it a try.

Well, today's crafter's garage sale went pretty well. I think 95% of the customers that came asked me right off the bat if I was quitting Stampin' Up!. I would tell them,"No, I just need to sell the old stuff so I can buy new stuff." And I would get a giggle out of them. I did have to close the garage door for about 30 minutes because a storm came through and it looked like a hurricane was blowing through. Tomorrow will probably be a little busier, being a Friday.

Front Range Stampers Meeting

Happy Tuesday! It has cooled down quite a bit and I guess we are supposed to have some rain all week. I love the rain. I grew up in Washington state and then lived in Las Vegas for 14 years ('nuff said, lol).

On the 4th Tuesday of the month a group of Stampin' Up! demos from the Denver area get together to discuss business, swap, and stamp. Some of us even meet before the meeting for dinner and make it a girls night out (GNO). Lots of fun and we have a lot of talent in our group. I am designing a 6"x6" technique page for one of the make & takes tonight and I think I might make a card also using the technique.

Stamp Camp West

Hi there!

This past Saturday I participated in a stamp camp with nine other demos. We each designed a card and the guests rotated around to the different tables and went home with ten great cards. I CASED Patty Benn ett's flower pot c ard and did it in three different colors. The ladies loved having the choice of colors. I kind of did it for selfish reasons. By using three different colors I only had to use 3.5 sheets of each color instead of 10.5 sheets of one color. These are two of the colors, the other color was Rich Razzleberry. Everyone really liked this cute little card. The theme of the stamp camp was "Birthdays". Thanks for looking!

First try at adding a card

Here is one of my recent creations. I love the new In Colors! I made this for a technique swap I did with a demo group I formed called the Front Range Stampers. We are a group that gets together once a month. We have different uplines, some don't have an active upline at all. We rotate teaching make & takes and have two swap themes each month. I used the Faux Linen technique on this card.
